2026 4-star DL Danny Beale names Top 8 schools
Wynne (Ark.) Cross County defensive lineman Danny Beale has pulled in around 20 offers and the No. 1 prospect in the state of Arkansas is ready to make his first cut.
“Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon and USC are my top eight schools,” Beale told On3. “It was pretty difficult to get it down to eight schools because most of the schools that have offered me are showing me love. That is their job though and it is up to me to figure out where I want to go. That is what I am working to do.”
Each school on Beale’s list is reaching out almost daily. That is part of the reason they made the cut.
“Communication is important. The coaching staff and the area the schools are in is something else I looked at. Then their history and how they produce defensive linemen also helped me make this list of eight schools.”
Arkansas is the in-state school on the list and the 6-foot-3, 300-pound four-star has visited the Razorbacks three times. He has visited Mississippi State and Ole Miss around half a dozen times each. He has yet to visit Oklahoma, Oregon or USC, but that could come in the off-season.

The No. 125 prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking will be back at Missouri on Nov. 30, then look toward visits next year as he works to make his decision.
“I have it down to a top eight, then I want to take my official visits and determine my decision after that,” Beale said. ” I am not sure if I will commit before my senior season or not. It will be how I feel after the official visits.
“Player development is important when I commit. I want to go somewhere that needs me too. I want to get on the field, so I am looking for a school that is not heavy at my position.”
