2026 4-star DL JaReylan McCoy decommits from LSU, opens his recruitment back up

When JaReylan McCoy committed to LSU on Jan. 2 at the Under Armour All-America game, the four-star defensive lineman out of Tupelo (Miss.) committed to LSU over Tennessee and USC.
When he committed, he was open about taking visits, exploring his options and continuing to build relationships with coaches at other schools.
The No. 124 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking has visited Ole Miss a couple of times in recent weeks, he has had double-digit schools in to see him and he has decided to open his recruitment back up.
“I just need to think about things a little more,” McCoy told On3. “LSU is a great school and I love coach Peoples, so LSU is still in the mix, but I just wanted to open things back up.”
