2026 4-star EDGE Jarius Rodgers commits to Syracuse Orange

Fleming Island (Fla.) four-star EDGE Jarius Rodgers has committed to Syracuse, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Monday.
Rodgers is the ninth prospect to commit to Fran Brown and the Orange in the 2026 class.
The 6-foot-5, 190-pound pass rusher is the nation’s No. 252 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 24 EDGE in the class and the No. 40 recruit from the state of Florida.
Rodgers is now the highest-rated commit in Syracuse’s group of 2026 pledges. He’s joined by Melbourne (Fla.) Central Catholic four-star offensive tackle Javeion Cooper, State College (Pa.) Harrisburg three-star running back D’Antae Sheffey, Baltimore St. Frances Academy three-star linebacker Maurice Medley and Middletown (Del.) three-star wide receiver BJ Garrett, among others.
