2026 defensive lineman Viliami Moala flips commitment from USC to Oregon
Salt Lake City (Utah) Bingham 2026 defensive lineman Viliami Moala has flipped his commitment from USC to Oregon, he announced on Monday.
Moala had previously been committed to the Trojans since September 10, when he chose USC over Utah, BYU and Arizona State.
“First and foremost I wanna thank My Lord and savior for helping me make this decision!” he wrote on Twitter. “I wanna thank all my family in my corner and standing by me with my decision! With that being said I wanna announce that I am committing to the University of Oregon!!!”
The 6-foot-2, 305-pounder is the No. 328 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the country’s No. 32 defensive lineman and No. 6 recruit in Utah.
