FAU sources respond to Ray Lewis report from ESPN
“Coach TJ has been great to build a relationship with. From the first time he met my family and I he was just very honest and genuine about what he thought of me and what it took to play in his program. My parents and I have discussed committing early and what that would mean and Coach TJ and his team made it really easy for me to feel comfortable committing early because of their honesty. I’m thankful for all the schools who showed interest but since I knew I wanted to rep my home state I didn’t see a need in delaying that decision. This also allows me to just focusing on playing the game I love and just getting better.”
In his own words, what type of player is Iowa State getting in Josiah Harrington?
“I would say my game and play style is doing whatever it takes to help my team win. I believe I am a 3 level scorer and I am working to be able to guard every position. I try not to get too high or too low on the court and focus on making that next play.”
He wants to improve several aspects of his game before stepping foot in Ames in 2027.
“My strength, nutrition, toughness, and ball handling are areas I am working on and will continue to work on. The BIG 12 is one of the toughest conferences in hoops and if I am going to help ISU win, I need to keep improving in those areas.”
He has a message for Iowa State fans.
“I am excited to be a Cyclone and I am going to do everything I can now and when I get there to prepare myself to help ISU win! There is nothing like Hilton Magic and I can’t wait to compete on that floor! Go Cyclones!”
