2027 On3 4-star QB Dane Weber is on the radar of top West Coast programs

Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral four-star quarterback Dane Weber currently holds one offer from Utah. There is a good chance that more schools enter the mix for the 6-foot-1, 210-pound signal-caller, as Boston College, BYU and San Diego State are also showing interest in him.
Weber will be visiting the Utes on April 12. He has also scheduled trips to Arizona State (April 4), Arizona (April 5) and USC (April 10).
“Schools such as Utah and schools close to home such as USC and San Diego State catch my eye because our communication has grown over the last couple weeks,” Weber told On3.
Weber called his relationship with Utah’s entire staff “very special.” He shared that the Utes’ coaches have made him “feel like a priority” during their conversations.

There is still a long time remaining in Weber’s recruitment. Yet the No. 7 player in California already knows what is most important to him in a program.
“I’m looking for a school that will push me to become a better human and a better football player,” said Weber, the No. 77 overall prospect and No. 3 quarterback in the 2027 On300. “Academics are very important to me, so a school with a good academic program is very intriguing to me as well.
“Two of the important factors when it comes time for me to commit will be my relationships with the coaching staff and the area of the university. My comfort at a school, as both a player and a student, matters too. I also want to be at a place where I feel like I put myself in the best position to achieve my goals.”
