24K is gearing up for another strong 7v7 season
In January, 7v7 season will kick off and top talent from all over the country will compete in events through late spring. OT7, Battle, Pylon, Red Zone Elite and others host tournaments from coast to coast and a team that is always competing in the top events is 24K.
Daylyn Upshaw (Miami signee) and Tyler Williams (Georgia signee) were stars last year. Cam Coleman, Colin Hurley, Nikai Martinez, Reggie Virgil and Rydarrius “Red” Morgan have played for 24K in the past as well.
It held its tryout in Florida last weekend. Some top talent turned out and will be names to track in the coming months.
At quarterback Trae Taylor and Nathan Bernhard had strong showings. Taylor is a 2027 prospect out of Lake In the Hills (Ill.) Carmel Catholic with national offers from the likes of LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Tennessee already.
After his workout, 24K said, “Trae is extremely talented with anticipation and arm talent. He can make every throw on the field.”
Bernhard is a junior out of Ashland (Ohio). Penn State is the favorite according to the On3 Prediction Machine and he drew praise as well.
“Nathan is really athletic with big size. He has big-time arm talent, he really excels in throwing on the move and fitting the ball into tight windows.”
Taylor and Bernhard will throw to guys like Jaeden McMillan and Zay Hilliard. McMillan is a four-star in the 2026 On300 and Hilliard is ready to make a name for himself.
On McMillan, “He has elite twitch and ball skills. He has the ability to go up over top or run by defensive backs too.”
24k like Hilliard’s big frame and how he is a natural pass catcher.
Like McMillan and Hilliard, Devonte Anderson is from Florida and he shined on both sides of the ball Sunday. He is a target for the Florida Gators and they like Anderson a lot.
“Devonte is long, athletic and he ha great ball skills. He understands leverage at an elite level.”
Anderson will pair up with guys like Jontavius Wyman (Georgia commit), Cortez Redding and Jordan Crutchfield in the secondary for 24K.
Crutchfield is pushing 6-feet, 3-inches tall.
“Jordan is really long and athletic. He is super-physical in his game. It is hard to get away from with his length.”

Wyman and Redding are teammates at Jonesboro (Ga.) are are playmakers on the back end of the defense.
“Jontavius has really elite hands and feet,” said 24K. “He will press and strike at the line of scrimmage. Then he has great hips, he is fluid and smooth in his pedal.
“Cortez is one of the better safeties I’ve seen in the country. He really excels in pattern reading and getting his hands on the football. He can play zone or man really smooth in his technique.”
24K will compete in 5v5
It is not just about skill guys anymore, but now linemen are involved and a couple shined at the 24K tryout.
“Chance Barclay was moving his feet at a great clip,” 24K said. “He is light on his feet being that size. He has a really long reach and he is very flexible in his movements which helps him with speed rushers.”
Barclay has a list of offers and he is looking at in-state schools like Florida, Miami and UCF among others.
Teaming up with Barclay at Orlando The First Academy is Blaze Jones. He could be desrcibed as a hybrid at 6-2, 240-pounds. East Carolina offered last month.
“Blaze is one of the top underclassmen on the defensive line. He has good hands and twitch to get off the ball. His explosive first step to close the distance and attack stood out too. He had an arsenal of moves from swim, rip to the counter step.”
