Rockville (Md.) Georgetown Preparatory School EDGE Nnamdi Udeogu announced his top six schools on Saturday afternoon. He will be choosing between Pennsylvania, Princeton, Rutgers, Syracuse, Vanderbilt and Yale.

Udeogu is the No. 1,101 player and No. 86 EDGE in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 20 player in Maryland.

On3 rates him even higher. Even though he isn’t ranked in the 2023 On300, Udeogu is rated as the No. 62 EDGE and No. 12 player from Maryland by On3.

Udeogu has taken two official visits in his recruiting process so far. The 6-foot-5, 228 pound prospect traveled to the Commodores on June 10 and visited the Scarlet Knights on June 21.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for Udeogu’s commitment between Rutgers and Vanderbilt. The Scarlet Knights have the highest odds at 50.5%, but the Commodores aren’t far behind at 44.2%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Udeogu has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
