Friery on his commitment to Dayton

Friery discussed why he ultimately chose the Flyers.

“I felt like Dayton could help me develop and help me reach my ultimate goal. Coach Grant has had success with people at my position and wings and the last 3 players to get to the NBA from Dayton have all been wings and forwards.”

In his own words, what type of player is Dayton getting in Damon Friery?

“A player who can shoot the ball, get to the basket, rebound, and defend.”

He has a message for Dayton fans.

Just excited to be apart of Dayton Basketball and Flyer Nation and let’s do something special.”
