3-star RB Marquise Collins discusses upcoming visits to Utah, Duke

College Station (Texas) three-star running back Marquise Collins is hoping to take two visits this month to Utah and Duke.
The visit to Utah is already confirmed for this weekend.
Collins said he doesn’t know much about the school beyond the football program. But running backs Quinton Ganther has been pushing hard for Collins to visit and see what the school has to offer.
“He thinks it could change my perspective on a lot of things,” Collins told On3’s Gerry Hamilton. “So I just want to go out and check it out.”
He is the No. 632 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Collins is hoping to visit Duke the following week, but the visit is not yet confirmed.
“I talked to really a lot of them quite often,” Collins said. “I talk to Coach (Trooper Taylor) a lot. He also is excited about me coming down. We call each other family too.”
Collins said he also hears a decent amount from Baylor, Houston, Texas Tech and UTSA.
Of those schools, he recently visited the Cougars.
“I enjoyed myself,” Collins said of his time in H-Town. “I had a good time. I thought it was a great up there. They had a lot of good stuff going on.”
