“I would first like to thank God for all the blessings He has given me because none of this is possible without Him,” Phillips said in a social media statement. “Thank you to my family for being the biggest support system that anyone could ask for. Mainly, I would like to thank my dad for his endless sacrifices and putting me in the best positions possible to be great. I would also like to thank every coach who has coached me through my years of football. Lastly, thank you to all the coaches who recruited me and believed in me even after taking a year away from football. With that being said I’ve decided to commit to Brigham Young University.”
