Adidas 3SSB Semi Final Saturday

Rock Hill, South Carolina – The live period is winding down, and so are the Adidas 3SSB championships. We are in the final four section of the week. College coaches are still able to be in attendance. On3’s National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw is also court-side at 3SSB to keep you up to date.

9:00 AM 16u Indiana Elite (IN) vs. Game Elite (GA)

The coaches showed up early for the Flory Bidunga and Peyton Marshall matchup. Bidunga has been the talk of the weekend at Adidas. The 6-foot-10 No. 3 ranked player in the 2023 class is a tough matchup with his motor, athleticism, and sheer physicality.

Peyton Marshall is a 6-foot-11, 300-pound four-star. Big body, who has great hands, touch, and a nose for rebounding his area. When the game got slow in the half-court, Marshall was able to show a lot of his game. He has dropped 60-plus pounds recently.

The game went down to the wire, as you would expect a high-level circuit game to do. Mark Pope (BYU), Brad Brownell (Clemson), and Mark Fox (Cal) each enjoyed the show. Assistants from North Carolina, Stanford, Butler, Purdue, South Carolina, Villanova, Rutgers, Utah, and LSU were among those watching.

11:10 AM We All Can Go (TN) vs. Team Trae Young (OK)

Four-star Kaden Cooper has been on a steady incline throughout 2022. The 6-foot-5 wing from Atlanta (GA) The Skills Factory, playing with Team Trae Young, has continued to pique the interest of college programs in Rock Hill.

Cooper took early official visits to Oklahoma and Gonzaga. Assistant coaches from LSU, Texas, Utah, Villanova, and Central Florida were all present courtside to take in this one. Cooper is a hyper-athletic wing. He is disruptive in passing lanes and aggressive in transition. The jump shot was falling here too, he stepped into a couple of wing threes and knocked down multiple two-dribble pull-ups.

12:15 PM 16u Team Loaded NC vs. Garner Road (NC)

On3 ranked Juke Harris No. 75 in the recent 2024 class update. The 6-foot-5 guard has added 12 offers since the June live evaluation period.

College coaches were in line for this matchup and Harris put on a show. The guard from Salisbury (NC) High finished with a game-high 33-points. He showcased a complete skill set, with the ability to handle in the half-court, distribute to his teammates, and score at each level. The pace stood out.
