Leo Curtis, a four-star center in the 2025 class, has committed to Arizona State, his agent Johann Mpondo of Cosmo Sports Management told On3.

The 7-foot-1 senior out of CATS Academy (MA) ultimately chose the Sun Devils over Indiana and West Virginia but also received offers from programs like Creighton, Stanford, Xavier, Alabama, UCF, and others.

Curtis is the No. 70 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to On3’s Top-150 Player Rankings. He’s also the No. 10 center.

The native of Iceland becomes Arizona State’s second commitment this cycle, joining three-star CG Trevor Best.

Curtis on his commitment to ASU

Leo Curtis discussed his decision to choose Arizona State with On3.

“ASU did a good job recruiting me. I believe their style fits how I play and I can see myself playing when I watch them. I think it’s a really good program and I like the facilites and the campus.”

What led to his trust in the coaching staff?

“I was able to build a really good relationship with the staff in a short amount of time since coming to the states. They have good a plan that fits my game and development.”

In his own words, what type of player is ASU getting in Curtis?

“I’m a tall, versatile player that can shoot, attack mismatches, block shots and make the right read. I move well and have good feel for the game.”

He has a message for Sun Devil fans.

“I think Coach Hurley and ASU have something really good going on and I can’t wait to become a part of that! #Forksup 🔱⬆️”
