4-star athlete Jason Mitchell set to visit Texas, Texas A&M
Los Angeles (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star athlete Jason Mitchell II will visit Texas and Texas A&M next weekend, he announced early Friday morning.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder will be making his first know trips to each program, and they will be his second and third visits since January after seeing USC a few weeks ago.
Mitchell is the No. 190 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average. He ranks as the nation’s No. 17 athlete and the No. 18 junior recruit in the state of California.

The Aggies and Longhorns have yet to extend him offers, but he already has nearly two dozen others to his name, including USC, Oregon, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, LSU and more.
The hometown Trojans are currently considered the major favorites to land him, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). Mitchell’s father played at USC from 2002 to 2004 and won a national championship in 2004.
