Columbus (Ohio) Franklin cornerback Dawayne Galloway has close to 30 offers. Many coaches traveled to Franklin in January and that made an impact on his recruitment. After taking time to think things over and talk to those he is close to, the No. 103 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking has narrowed his list to 12 schools.

Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Purdue, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF and West Virginia made the cut.

“They all have come to see me at my school, they have shown that they want me very much, and their coaches have made it known that I am a priority target for them,” Galloway told On3 about his Top 12 schools. “These programs are some very good programs with bright futures ahead too.”

Out of the 12 schools, the four-star has visited Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Purdue, Syracuse and West Virginia. No dates are locked in for spring visits yet, but Galloway will be back on the road soon as he pushes toward a decision in the coming months.

“I plan to visit many of these schools this spring, then set official visits for six of them. It will be about whoever leaves the biggest impression this spring.

“Then I want to commit this summer. I need to have a great relationship with the head coach and the defensive backs coach. Then the rest of the staff needs to be very supportive and really close with me and my camp.”

Galloway is the No. 11 cornerback in the country and No. 4 prospect in Ohio.
