4-star CB Jaedyn Terry commits to Georgia Tech

Manchester (Ga.) four-star cornerback Jaedyn Terry has committed to Georgia Tech, he announced on Thursday afternoon.
He chose the in-state Yellow Jackets over offers from the likes of Mississippi State, Kentucky, Duke, Louisville and Michigan State.
Terry is the No. 348 overall prospect and No. 30 corner in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 41 player in Georgia.
Head coach Brent Key and the GT staff now have a pair of pledges in their 2026 class, as Terry joins Quitman (Ga.) Brooks County safety Traeviss Stevenson, who committed on March 18.
“I made my decision a couple of days ago I chose Georgia Tech because it is the best place for me and for the education,” Stevenson told On3’s Chad Simmons about his decision. “The coaching staff, the culture and how they practice are other things I love about Georgia Tech.”

Yellow Jackets aiming to sign another Top-25 class
The 2025 cycle brought plenty of recruiting wins for the Yellow Jackets, as they inked the No. 24 class in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Two top-100 signees highlight the incoming class. Cedartown (Ga.) four-star safety Tae Harris was the No. 54 recruit and No. 3 safety in the cycle, while Roswell (Ga.) Fellowship Christian four-star interior offensive lineman Josh Petty was the No. 64 prospect and No. 5 IOL.
“Coach Key is going to take this program and make them real competitors in the ACC,” Petty told On3. “He’s building a Georgia-based team and Georgia has some of the best high school talent in the country. If we can keep getting high priority, in-state guys, Georgia Tech will be a great program in no time.”
Four other blue-chippers signed with GT in December: Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek four-star cornerback Dalen Penson, Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett, Fort Valley (Ga.) Houston County four-star IOL Peyton Joseph and Colquitt (Ga.) Miller County four-star running back JP Powell.
