4-star CB Jalyn Crawford sets commitment date
Will it be Auburn, Florida or LSU for Jalyn Crawford? The four-star cornerback took official visits to the three SEC programs and he is now set to announce his commitment to one of them.
The No. 174 prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings is set to make his decision known on July 15 at 3:30pm ET. He still has some work to do with that day approaching.
“I am still thinking it over,” Crawford told On3 about his decision. “I am getting close to my decision and I have an idea, but I am still talking things out with my family and making sure of everything. My decision will be made when I get a little closer to the date.”
It is still an ongoing battle between the three SEC programs. He has visited Auburn and LSU around five times each. Florida has had him at the Swamp twice.

Each school has made a strong case to the four-star cornerback out of Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview.
“Auburn has great people. They care about the player and the person. Florida has CRay (Corey Raymond). He has produced a lot of great defensive backs. LSU is about the culture. It is lit down there with great people.
“I can see myself at all three of these schools. Since they offered, they have stuck with me and communicated with me all the way through. I like a lot about all three.”
Crawford said a lot will factor into his final decision, but relationships and fit are two he named specifically.
