4-Star CB Jasiah Wagoner trims list as he closes in on a decision
Notre Dame, Penn State, and Washington have been eliminated by Jasiah Wagoner. The four-star cornerback out of Spanaway (Wash.) Spanaway Lake is down to four schools with a decision nearing.
“I am down to California, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas,” Wagoner told On3. “I have seen what I needed to see from each of these schools and now I will sit down with my family to discuss them and figure out which is better for me football-wise and outside of football.”
The No. 202 prospect in the On3 Consensus said he could commit on July 25, his father’s birthday. He may know a little sooner than that though.

“I could make my decision with my family in the next week or two, then announce it late in July. The education, the environment, the way the school develops players, and things like that will be factors in my decision.
“I would say I am pretty close to making my decision.”
California is the school he said he has the best relationships at. The degree and location stand out about the Golden Bears too. Wagoner likes what Brent Venables is about on and off the field. Oregon is trending in the right direction in Wagoner’s eyes. He liked the class Dan Lanning is putting together. The connection with Joey Thomas and the tradition in Austin has Texas still in contention.
Now, Wagoner is down to four working to get to one.
“It is not going to be an easy decision. I still have a lot to think about.”
