4-star CB S'Vioarean Martin down to three schools with summer commitment date set

Palestine (Texas) four-star cornerback S’Vioarean Martin has accrued plenty of big-time offers throughout his recruiting process. He’s now down to a final three.
Martin announced on Sunday that he’ll reveal his college decision on June 19. He’ll choose between Houston, Kansas State and Texas Tech.
Martin is the No. 362 overall prospect and No. 35 CB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 48 player in Texas.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder still has one out-of-state program in contention for his pledge — and it’s trending to land the blue-chipper, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Kansas State got Martin back to campus last month and is also set to receive an official visit on the weekend of May 30.
“Kansas State is standing out,” Martin told K-State Online after his latest visit to Manhattan. “I love the fact that they are family oriented and their defensive coaching staff has been together for so many years, so it’s a lot of experience in the coaching staff.”

A track star who also plays on both sides of the ball on the gridiron, Martin also previously considered the likes of SMU, Michigan State and Baylor. As a junior, he logged 28 tackles, four pass breakups and a forced fumble while also catching 18 passes for 229 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
K-State will look to pull Martin out of the Lone Star State next month, though the Cougars and Red Raiders are also thoroughly in the mix. June official visits to the in-state Big 12 programs are also on the docket ahead of his decision.
“I’m looking for everything,” Martin told KSO. “How long has the staff been together who’s staying, who can I learn from the most based off coaching style and the history of the program.”
