4-star Dedan Thomas down to 6 schools
Henderson (Nev.) Liberty four-star recruit Dedan Thomas tells On3 he’s down to six schools: Gonzaga, Houston, Arizona, UCLA, UNLV, and Florida.
Thomas officially visted Houston last weekend (Oct. 1). He has scheduled unofficial visits to Arizona (Oct. 28) and Gonzaga (Nov. 5-6). He also says he’s looking to set up official visits to UCLA and Florida in March and will also visit UNLV at some point.
The 6-foot-1 class of 2024 point guard also received offers from Virginia, Miami, USC, Stanford, Washington, LSU, and others.
He ranks as the No. 34 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies.

Gonzaga: “I love their style of play and they have produced really good guards over the past years under Mark Few so I know I can learn a lot from him and his staff.”
Houston: “The culture they have built over there is incredible. I have developed a great relationship with their coaches and their style of play fits me.”

Arizona: “The history and atmosphere at Arizona is crazy. I have built a great relationship with their coaching staff and I love the way they play which is the way I play.”
UCLA: “It’s a great place to play. Their style of play fits me and I have a built a great relationship with the staff. The history behind UCLA and the education is great.”
UNLV: “They were my first offer in 8th grade and that is where my dad played. I have a great relationship with their coaching staff as well and having my hometown school offer me meant a lot.”
Florida: “I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and I have known most of them for awhile when they were at different schools. They have a great atmosphere and fan base and have a great SEC schedule to play every year.”
