4-star DL Titan Davis now down to Alabama and Michigan

Saint Louis DeSmet four-star defensive lineman Titan Davis has quickly hit another gear in his recruitment.
After locking in official visit dates, Davis named a top four of Alabama, Michigan, Penn State and USC. With a decision on the horizon, the 6-foot-4, 260-pounder has now cut his list of finalists in half.
Davis told 247Sports’ Allen Trieu on Thursday that he’ll now decide between the Crimson Tide and the Wolverines. He took an official visit to Alabama last weekend and will take his OV to Michigan on the weekend of June 20. Officials to PSU and USC are now reportedly off.
Davis is the No. 104 overall prospect and No. 9 DL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in Missouri.
As a junior for DeSmet, Davis logged 46 total tackles and nine sacks. The Spartans won 14 games and a state title, finishing as the No. 15 team in Missouri, per the On3 Composite Rankings.
Alabama impressed Davis on his OV
The Crimson Tide have emerged in Davis’ process and his recent trip to Tuscaloosa made a serious splash in his recruitment. He was on campus earlier in the spring, too.
From head coach Kalen DeBoer to touted associate head coach Freddie Roach and the rest of the Bama staff, Davis was treated like a top priority on the Capstone. DeSmet coach Terrance Poe accompanied Davis and caught up with BamaOnLine after the visit.

“I think the visit was awesome,” Poe told BOL. “They did a great job of not selling themselves, but putting a stamp on the rumors and people think about Alabama. It was a lot better than the expectations. The structure is there. The standard is the standard.”
Michigan has long been a top contender
With Sherrone Moore at the helm, the U-M staff makes it easy for Davis to envision success in Ann Arbor. He also visited the Big Ten power in the spring, and his mother told On3’s Steve Wiltfong after the fact that the trip was a big success.
“I tell everybody Titan is a quiet guy,” Davis’ mother, Jessica Johnson, told Wiltfong in March. “He’s not going to be posting and bragging. Even when he goes to game days he’s not the type of kid to take out his phone and take pictures and videos. The videos that came across and he sent from that game-day visit, I knew that was special for him. I knew he hadn’t done that at any other visit or game day. I know he was excited for me to get there.”
The two teams continue to wrangle for momentum in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. A decision date is yet to be locked in, though his upcoming OV with the Wolverines will likely lead into a commitment ahead of Davis’ senior campaign.
