He grew up dreaming about playing for the Buckeyes and he has visited Columbus three times. South Carolina offered early in February and the Gamecocks have been coming strong since. He was last in Columbia early in the spring. Clemson offered the first of March and that is the only school Hoffler has taken an official vist to. He was at Clemson on June 3.
Hoffler didn’t hint at the school, but the decision has been made.
“I have visited a lot of schools, so I knew what I was looking for and I have found it,” Hoffler told On3. “The school has the right blend of academics, culture, and football. I thought about waiting a little longer to make sure, but I am ready and will commit Tuesday, on my mother’s birthday.”
Hoffler is ranked the No. 273 prospect in the On3 Consensus rankings.
