4-star EDGE Isaiah Nixon decommits from UCF
St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood four-star EDGE Isaiah Nixon has decommitted from UCF following his official visit to Florida this weekend.
Nixon is the No. 169 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
The 2023 On300 ranking has Nixon ranked slightly higher at No. 160.
“First, I would like to thank the University of Central Florida for the opportunity to go through their recruiting process,” Nixon said on social media. “The recruiting process has been awesome. I had the opportunity to meet and come in contact with some amazing people! Unfortunately, today I am de-committing from UCF. This was a very tough decision for me, but ultimately it was a decision that needed to be made. UCF is an awesome school with great staff that treated me and my family with the (utmost) respect. I appreciate all the love that the staff at UCF showed me and my family. Moving forward, I am excited and enthusiastic about the new endeavors God has for me, Thank you everyone and continue to be blessed.”
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $12.5k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

The Gators have become runaway favorites to land Nixon, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Florida has a 97.5% chance of earning a verbal commitment from Nixon.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
