4-star junior wing Scotty Middleton updates recruitment
Scotty Middleton, a 6-foot-7 small forward out of Orangebury (S.C.) Sunrise Christian Academy is an emerging prospect in the class of 2023. Middleton has already received 15+ scholarship offers but says he hears the most from Ohio State, Texas Tech, Xavier, Kansas State, and DePaul.
The junior wing has only taken one official visit to Kansas State in October but says he wants to visit Ohio State and Florida State (who has not yet offered) sometime in the near future. However, he hasn’t scheduled any visits. He’s also been gathering interest from Oregon, Wake Forest, and Miami.

Scouting Report on Middleton
On3’s National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw had this to say about Scotty Middleton:
“Scotty Middleton plays with a lot of passion and fire. That is probably what sticks out the most about his game. Middleton has great length and he is very active on both ends. Defensively, he aggressively gets into the passing lanes. He will need to continue tightening the overall skill set, but his ability to get out and run in transition and crash the offensive glass will keep him productive and on the floor.”
