4-star LB McKay Madsen commits to BYU Cougars

Clovis (Calif.) North four-star linebacker McKay Madsen has committed to BYU. He chose the Cougars over Oregon and UCLA.

Madsen was named Navy All-American Bowl Man of the Year on Friday.

“BYU just the religious aspect, they share my same beliefs and faith,” Madsen previously told On3 of his interest in the Cougars.

Madsen is the No. 341 overall prospect and No. 37 LB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 30 player in California.
