4-star LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng will return to Michigan this weekend
Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng was in the Big House Michigan knock off USC in September and he is planning a return trip to Ann Arbor this weekend to see the Wolverines host No. 1 Oregon.
Notre Dame is viewed as Michigan’s top competition for the four-star linebacker out of Virginia that is playing at IMG Academy and the Big Ten continues to be one of his favorites.
“I will be at Michigan this weekend,” Owusu-Boateng told On3. “What draws me back is understanding the fact that I’m a necessity and the love I get from Michigan. It’s a family atmosphere up there.”
Michigan is doing a great job recruiting Owusu-Boateng.
“I feel like family already. It’s more than football it’s about you the person.”

“The atmosphere was electric,” Owusu-Boateng told On3. “It was a battled-tested win and the team never folded when they were down. It was my first game at Michigan and they made a great impression.”
Sherrone Moore‘s program is considered one of the top contenders for the No. the No. 111 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking. Notre Dame is up there too. His brother played there. Florida, Ohio State, Texas and USC are the others schools on his list.

The 6-foot-0.5, 200-pound defender left Ann Arbor feeling good about the national champions.
“This visit helped them a lot,” Owusu-Boateng said. “Every time I come back, they impress me even more. When talking to the coaches, their message was that they need me. I would love to play in the Big House.”
Next up Owusu-Boateng will officially visit Texas on Oct. 19, then on Nov. 4, he returns to South Bend. Those are the only visits planned, then he plans to make his decision.
“I will go to the school I feel comfortable at,” Owusu-Boateng told On3 last week in an interview. “And it is not just me, but my family having that feeling as well. I am searching for the place I want to be for the next four years. I want to get a great education in economics and finance and go to a place that can prepare me to be three and out. Who gives time the best opportunity to reach my goals is where I will go.”
Owusu-Boateng is just one of many top recruits who left Michigan excited about the Big Ten program. Steve Wiltfong has more reaction here.
