La Verne (Calif.) Bonita four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail is one of the most coveted defenders in the 2025 recruiting class. Top programs from around the country have been involved in Mikhail’s recruitment, and soon he will be ready to make his college decision.

Mikhail will announce his commitment on June 30, he told On3’s Chad Simmons.

The date follows a trio of official visits for Mikhail in the month of June. He will take trips to USC (June 7), Oregon (June 14) and Texas A&M (June 21). While those programs remain at the top for Mikhail, he told Simmons that no teams have been eliminated in his recruitment.

Mikhail is the No. 73 overall prospect and No. 6 LB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 3 player in California.

At the end of April, Mikhail discussed his interest in the three programs he’s currently set to officially visit this summer with On3’s Phillip Dukes.

USC: “Obviously, it’s close to home. Easy for the fam to get to. Coach (D’Anton) Lynn just came in, NFL-minded defensive coordinator, I know Matt Entz is a great coach, developed a lot of great players. I think between that NFL scheme, my ultimate goal is getting to the league, so being in that type of scheme helps a lot.”

Texas A&M: “Coach (Mike) Elko, he’s a defensive-minded head coach, which is huge. Coach (Jay) Bateman, he’s real smart, real great dude. You’re playing in the SEC. I mean, it doesn’t get much better than that. They’re changing that culture around, for real.”

Oregon: “Same thing, defensive-minded head coach, Coach (Dan) Lanning. He’s a great coach. Coach (Tosh) Lupoi, he was in the league for a little bit, they’ve got that NFL style to them. I like the competitiveness of Oregon. They’re always going to be good, they’re always going to be competing at the highest level.”
