Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge four-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo has narrowed his list of schools down to eight, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

He will choose between Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and Ole Miss.

Ojo is the nation’s No. 46 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 5 OT and the No. 8 recruit from Texas in the class.

Ojo planning to take official visits to at least two schools

Late last month, the 6-foot-7, 274-pound Ojo locked in an official visit to Texas for June 13. He was just coming off of an unofficial visit to Austin at the time.

“The vibe at Austin was great and felt welcomed,” Ojo told On3 after leaving campus. “What continues to excite me about my opportunity with Texas is how Coach Flood sees me fitting in their offense and the chance of coming in early to compete for the starting job.

“Texas compares really well with other schools I’m highly interested and most definitely up there.”

Ojo also told On3 that Michigan and Ohio State would likely get visits — and he confirmed the latter with On3’s Hayes Fawcett last week. A date is not yet set for Ojo’s official visit to Columbus, but the Buckeyes are in the “top two” of his recruitment.

“What stands out about Ohio State is the culture and how much of a priority I am for them. Especially when Coach (Justin) Frye left, the whole offensive staff called me that morning letting me know that they’re gonna find someone new quick and that I’m still a top priority,” Ojo told Fawcett.

He added:

“Their run in college football means a lot to me,” Ojo told On3. “I love their direction they are taking in building their program … this excites me because I get a chance to possibly help build a program and follow what they’re doing.”
