Four schools have officially emerged for Honolulu (Hi.) Kamehameha Secondary four-star offensive tackle Malakai Lee.

The 6-foot-7 trench monster told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Saturday that Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Texas make up his finalists.

Lee is the No. 118 overall prospect and No. 10 OT in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in Hawaii.

On3 ranks the 310-pounder higher than other recruiting services. He checks in as the No. 85 recruit and No. 9 OT in the 2026 On300.

Georgia had Lee in for an official visit on the weekend of April 12. He’s got OVs to each of three other finalists lined up, too. Alabama is up next on May 30, while Texas (June 6) and Michigan (June 20) will follow next month.

Crucial string of OVs on deck for Lee

Lee got back to Athens last time and he thoroughly enjoyed his time around head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia staff. The Bulldogs have a real shot at landing the blue-chipper.

“Georgia knocked it out of the park,” Lee told On3’s Chad Simmons after the OV. “They were so caring for me and my family. The southern hospitality at Georgia was great. Then seeing G-Day was awesome too. I got to see the players work and the coaches coach, then right after the game, coach Searels was already grading the players like a real game, so that was great to see too. Georgia football is going to be Georgia football, especially under coach Smart and it was an overall great experience at Georgia.”

Alabama and Michigan are two others that have been consistently pushing for Lee this year. He’ll get back to Tuscaloosa next as Kalen DeBoer and the Tide work to land his commitment.

“Alabama football is great and I really like coach DeBoer and coach Kap (Chris Kapalovic),” Lee said. “They both seem like great guys. I saw a lot on the unofficial visit. They answered a lot of my questions and I like how the program is going in the right direction.”

As for Michigan, the production at Lee’s position has him interested in what’s being built in Ann Arbor under Sherrone Moore.

“Coach Newsome and coach Moore and both super-good offensive line coaches,” he said. “That, their offensive line production and how they develop players there are things I like about Michigan. They offer a great education too. They got Bryce Underwood, a great quarterback last year too, so there are some big things for me to look at, at Michigan.”

USC has had the momentum in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, but with the Trojans not cracking his final four, a new program will look to emerge in the coming weeks for one of the nation’s top tackles.
