Coming off his official visit to Tennessee this weekend, Kankakee (Ill.) four-star offensive tackle Marques Easley is ready to cut his list down one last time before a July commitment.

The Volunteers, along with Oklahoma and Alabama, make up his top three he told On3 on Sunday. He has taken official visits to Tennessee and OU already this month and will be at Alabama next weekend to see the Tide.

Then, he is expected to announce his commitment decision on July 8.

The 6-foot-5, 345-pounder is the No. 242 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 18 offensive tackle and the No. 5 prospect in Illinois.

Easley previously broke down his top three schools

Earlier this spring, Easley spoke with On3 about his interest in the Crimson Tide, Sooners and Volunteers.

Alabama: “Alabama speaks for itself, so I am interested. They are recruiting me harder, talking to me more and things have really picked up.”

Oklahoma: “I talk a lot with coach (Bill Bedendaugh) and coach (Brent Venables). Oklahoma has always come hard and I like the culture.”

Tennessee: “With Tennessee, I have that connection with (Kevin Pendleton). He was at Missouri when they offered me early. That bond and the energy at Tennessee makes them stand out.”

Georgia has been another contender over the past few months, and while the Bulldogs didn’t make his top three, it’s expected that they will continue to push for him heading into his commitment date.
