4-star OT Marques Easley trims list to 10 schools
Marques Easley has emerged as one of the top offensive tackles this cycle. The 6-foot-7, 300-pounder out of Kankakee (Ill.) added over 20 offers since the calendar rolled over to 2023 to give him 35 heading into the spring.
The No. 231 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking is ready to trim his list of schools down to 10.
“Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and USC are my top schools,” Easley told On3. “These schools have not only gotten close to me, but they have really gotten to know my mom too. I am talking to each of these schools multiple times a week and these are coaches I think I could fit in well at.”
Easley was at Missouri over the weekend. The Tigers were the first school to offer the No. 13 offensive tackle in the country. He visited Texas A&M last weekend and likes the “rebuild mode” the Aggies are in. Alabama was his first visit of 2023. He was in Tuscaloosa back in January and loved the “competition” there.
USC will host Easley this coming weekend. He is then set to visit Oklahoma (March 23), Florida State (March 25) and Tennessee (March 30).

A decision is not expected before his senior season, but he has already scheduled three official visits for the summer.
“I am taking an official visit to Georgia June 2-4, to Tennessee June 16-18 and to Alabama June 23-25,” Easley said. “I am saving my last two official visits for the season and I am still deciding who those will be to. After I take those, I will decide whether I commit during the season or after the season.”
