4-star OT Ziyare Addison names top nine schools
Tampa Sumner four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison has stayed busy on the road this spring, traveling to a slew of top programs around the country.
With the summer and the heart of his official visit schedule approaching, Addison is ready to focus on a select group of schools. On Thursday, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he is down to nine programs: Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Stanford and UCLA.
Addison is the No. 182 overall prospect and No. 14 OT in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 25 player in Florida.
Thus far, Addison has already logged official visits to UCLA and Georgia. Florida is up next, with OVs to Oregon, Penn State and FSU on deck next month.
Back in March, Addison told On3’s Phillip Dukes that he is aiming for a mid-August commitment. He’s ready to provide a college program with an impressive trench monster at the next level.

“You’ll be getting a kid that can play one through five that studies and loves the game. That doesn’t take the game for granted,” Addison said when asked what a school is getting if he commits. “I went through blood, sweat and tears to get where I’m at right now. Fun fact about me, I came as a defensive end and a tight end — I was only 190 pounds, not too sure if I was going to go to the military or play football. Now I believe I am one of the best offensive line players if not the best offensive lineman in the country. Busting my butt, switching and trying to learn the position and now the upside is there because this is my third year playing offensive line, so the upside is there.”
Addison’s recent official visit to Athens was a smash hit for the Bulldogs. He told On3’s Chad Simmons that the visit moved UGA into his top five moving forward.
“I’m a top guy for them,” Addison said. “That has been their message to me since they offered. Georgia is recruiting me very hard and they want me bad. That is how they made me feel this weekend. They say I have rare feet and they like that and how I am a ball player that works.”
Florida State currently has the edge in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). Seminoles insider Matt LaSerre logged a pick in favor of the in-state program at the end of March.
