4-star PG Daquan Davis, former Providence commit, names top 2 schools & sets commitment date
Daquan Davis, a four-star point guard and a former Providence commit, has narrowed his recruitment down to Georgia Tech and Florida State and has set his commitment date for Sunday, March 24th. He has visited both schools.
The 6-foot-1 senior out of Overtime Elite (GA) was previously committed to Providence, but reopened his recruitment in late-October.
Davis talks top 2 schools
Georgia Tech: “Georgia Tech stands out to me because of head coach Damon (Stoudamire). He was a point guard at the highest level, one I want to reach and not only that, he was a small guard like me. So me playing for him would help me develop into a NBA guard I feel.”
Florida State: “The Florida State visit was good. It was great getting to see them play and see the play style that they play with. Coach Hamilton is a great guy and very thorough and that’s the type of coach I want to coach me. My favorite part about the visit was me getting to know coach Hamilton more. I was familiar with him but I felt like it was a start to a good relationship.”
