4-star QB Antwann Hill locks in visits to Florida, Memphis and Texas A&M
Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County four-star quarterback Antwann Hill was a one-time Colorado commitment, but back on Nov. 26, he backed off that pledge and opened his recruitment back up.
The 6-foot-4.5, 215-pound gunslinger tripped to Florida and Georgia Tech earlier this year. He is in regular communication with both program, but the Gators and Yellow Jackets have competition.
Memphis and Texas A&M are on Hill’s list and he has lined up visits to both. Hill will be in College Station on March 22-23 and on the Memphis campus on April 13-14.
“This will be my first visit to both schools,” Hill told On3. “I’m very excited to meet the new staff and to see how they practice. I can’t wait to see what they’re doing with their quarterback play out there.
“At Memphis, Coach Ryan Silverfield and his NFL background coaching great quarterbacks like Brett Favre and more. That really catches my eye and gives me a different outlook on Memphis.”
The No. 105 overall prospect and No. 10 QB in the On3 Industry Ranking is still working to lock in his official visits.
Florida is a school Hill’s very familiar with and he will be back at the Swamp on March 30.
Hill shares more on A&M
New offensive coordinator Collin Klein made his way to The Peach State earlier this year and has already began building a solid relationship with Hill and his family — something that the QB says will be one of, if not the biggest factor in where he opts to play his college football.

Oregon coach getting NFL buzz
“Me and Coach Klein, we’re building a great bond, he came down this spring and talked to me — we stayed in there for like two hours, him and my dad just talking ball, talking about the future at Texas A&M and what they’re bringing from Kansas State to Texas A&M, so I feel like they’re gonna really make some noise this year, too,” he said of the Aggies.
“Consistent communication with me and my folks, that’ll go a long way. Even after I’m committed, you’re still recruiting me, still acting like I’m your top priority and you’re not out there trying to get another quarterback without telling me, or something like that … that’s my biggest thing.”
Florida has been consistent with Hill
Since Hill’s decommitment from Colorado, Florida has been consistently mentioned as one of the contenders for his pledge. Hill is one of the Gators’ top targets under center and he’s already made his fair share of visits to The Swamp, including a Junior Day trip in January.
“What I like about Florida, I mean culture. Everything down there in Gainesville is about football, football, football. Great fanbase, great everything,” Hill said.
“Coach Napier being down there, great school, they’ve got Lagway from the 2024 class, great quarterback right there, so I feel like if I go there that would be a great role model for me to look up towards. I’m surprised to see what they’ve got going on this year at the quarterback position.”
