4-star RB Marquise Davis announces top 10 schools
Cleveland (Ohio) Cleveland Heights four-star running back Marquise Davis holds offers from more than 30 schools. He is ready to focus on 10 of them going forward.
Davis’ finalists are Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC and West Virginia. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound tailback has visited each of these programs except for Missouri, Texas A&M and USC.
“The 10 that I named, these schools I could actually see myself playing at,” Davis told On3.
Davis has already locked in official visits to three of his finalists
Davis’ most recent trip was to Michigan on March 26. He also went to Florida from March 21-23.
The Gators and Wolverines, as well as Kentucky and Tennessee, are going to receive return visits from Davis, who has set or is planning to schedule official visits with each program. Davis will be at Michigan from June 7-9, Kentucky from June 14-16 and Tennessee from June 21-23. The No. 5 player in Ohio also expects to lock in an official visit with Florida.
“It’s going to come down to how much of a priority I am to the team,” said Davis, the No. 102 overall prospect and No. 7 running back in the 2025 On300. “I am looking at a school to see if I will come in as a priority.”

A summer decision is likely for Davis
Following his official visits in June, Davis will commit anytime between a month following those trips and the first game of his senior season. The four-star is speaking with most of his finalists “pretty frequently.”
There are still multiple months until Davis announces his college destination. Yet each of his top schools are working very hard to land him.
“Some schools talk to me more about things outside of football and becoming a better person,” Davis said. “That’s what I like to hear because it isn’t all about football. But at the same time, it is. Some schools give their pitch. Every running backs coach that I speak with has a different personality.”
