4-star S Jaremiah Anglin announces commitment date

Lake Wales (Fla.) four-star safety Jaremiah Anglin will be announcing his college commitment on Aug. 6. He revealed the news over social media earlier this afternoon.

Anglin is the No. 452 overall prospect and the No. 43 safety in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 86 player in Florida.

On3’s rankings rate him much higher as the No. 230 overall prospect and the No. 22 safety in the 2023 On300. He is also the No. 48 player in Florida.

Anglin has taken 15 visits during his recruiting process, but only one of them has been an official visit. That was a June 24 trip to Pittsburgh. However, the 6-foot-1, 180 pound prospect has only visited Florida State and USF multiple times.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Seminoles have a commanding lead to land Anglin’s commitment at 81.9%. The Panthers have the next-best odds at 4.3%, while the Bulls have the third-best chance at 2.5%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Anglin has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.9K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
