4-star safety Rashad Johnson sets commitment date, names finalists
Bushnell (Fla.) South Sumter four-star safety Rashad Johnson took official visits to Louisville, Penn State, Georgia and Texas A&M and he is set to announce his decision on July 14.
“A couple of days ago, I sat down with my coach talked about the different schools, my official visits and decided that I was ready to commit to a school,” Johnson told On3. “My family and my coach’s family went over the pros and cons and figured things out.
“At first I was thinking I would make my decision on July 3, my sister’s birthday, but I moved it back July 14. I am ready.”
Johnson praised each school on his list. He has relationships with each coaching staff, the official visits went well, but one school pulled ahead at the end.
