Colt Langdon, a four-star small forward in the 2025 class, is ready to make his college decision. The 6-foot-7 rising senior out of Millbrook High School (NC) will announce his commitment live on the On3 Recruits YouTube Channel on Wednesday, July 10th at 6:00 PM ET. Langdon’s final three schools are Butler, LSU, and Notre Dame.

Langdon, a native of Raleigh, NC, is the No. 123 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 29 small forward prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3’s evaluators are higher on Langdon, ranking him No. 105 in the 2025 class.

Langdon talks Butler, LSU, and Notre Dame

In a previous interview with On3, Colt Langdon broke down each of the schools he’s considering.

BUTLER: Coach (Alex) Barlow has been the biggest thing for them. He reaches out to me almost every single day, telling me how they see me playing there. And Thad Matta even texts me and talks with me. They have just stayed really consistent with their contact, which is something I really like. Coach Barlow also having coached with the Celtics is something I like as well.

“They like shooting a lot of threes, getting out and running, setting down screens and quick offense. So that is a style of play that I can see myself fitting into.”

NOTRE DAME: “I talk with Coach (Micah) Shrewsberry and Coach (Kyle) Getter a lot. They like playing positionless basketball, with a lot of movement, a lot of shooting, and a lot of guards. Coach Getter has been with me since my freshman year when he was at Virginia. I think they just see me as a good fit there. And they have a really good 2024 recruiting class coming in as well.”

LSU: “Coach (Ronnie) Hamilton talks with me almost every day. I talk some with Coach (Casey) Long too. The head coach (Matt) McMahon calls me now almost every week. So they’re really consistent with their contact from the whole staff. I’m looking forward to taking another unofficial down there really soon.”

(Ronnie Hamilton has accepted a coaching position at another program since this interview).
