4-star SF Joshua Lewis decommits from Iowa

Joshua Lewis, a four-star small forward in the 2025 class, has de-committed from Iowa, he told On3. This news comes after Hawkeyes’ head coach Fran McCaffery was fired late last week.
Lewis, a 6-foot-7 senior out of Blake High School (Tampa, FL), committed to Iowa in Janurary. He was previously committed to USF where he was their highest-ranked recruit in program history. Lewis also received offers from Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Illinois, and others throughout his high school career.
Lewis is the No. 52 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 13 small forward prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
