Courtland Muldrew, a four-star shooting guard in the 2025 class, has committed to Washington and head coach Danny Sprinkle, he told On3.

The 6-foot-3 senior out of Oak Hill Academy (VA) chose the Huskies over offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Creighton, and others.

Muldrew, a native of Springdale, Arkansas, is the No. 104 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 28 shooting guard prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Muldrew on his commitment to Washington

Courtland Muldrew discussed his decision with On3. Why did he choose Washington?

“Just the need for a guard like myself and the vision (Sprinkle) has for me.”

What led to his trust in coach Sprinkle and the staff?

“The message he sent is that he wants me to come in and be myself. He showed film of his past guards and showed the average minutes of of his past top guards. He stated “my top guards are going to play 30+ plus minutes a night” and he wants that from me.”
