4-star Silas Demary, Jr. adds SEC offer and immediately sets visit
Four-star Silas Demary, Jr. is coming off a first-team All-NBPA Top 100 Camp performance. Tennessee, Arizona State, and Georgia were quick to offer the 6-foot-5 point guard.
On3’s No. 89 ranked player in the 2023 class took two early official visits, VCU and St. John’s. The Lincolnton (NC) Combine Academy guard is in the process of setting up a visit with Texas A&M. Each of these staff’s head coaches was present during UAA’s Atlanta stop and the NBPA Top 100 Camp.
Demary, Jr. acted quickly with the Tennessee offer and set up an official visit for July 26-28.

Demary on Tennessee
“Tennessee has put players into the NBA,” Demary, Jr. told On3. “I’ve been up there a few times, and what stands out to me is the relationship I’ve been building with Coach (Justin) Gainey and Coach (Rick) Barnes. They’ve both been telling me stuff about players and the plans they have for guys to make it beyond college.”
Scouting Report
Silas Demary, Jr. is a high-level defender, both on and off the ball. Great length. Excellent anticipation. He really competes at a high level. He can play either guard spot on offense. A big guard who takes care of the ball as a point guard. A slashing secondary ball-handler as an off guard. He is an aggressive downhill scorer. Excellent in transition and a solid athlete. Like to see continue to tighten the jump shot. State champion. UAA champion.
