4-star TE Matt Ludwig narrows list to four schools

Matt Ludwig, the top 2026 recruit in the state of Montana, is ready to take the next steps in his recruitment.
On Friday, the four-star athlete narrowed his list of more than 20 offers down to four schools: Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas Tech. Ludwig also held offers from Nebraska, Oregon, LSU, Penn State, and a host of other programs but will now focus on the final four of the Bulldogs, Wolverines, Volunteers and Red Raiders.
Ludwig has visited each of his finalists on at least one occasion, and was most recently at Michigan in early November.
“The visit to Michigan was awesome,” Ludwig told On3’s Steve Wiltfong after the trip. “Loved every minute of being there. Loved seeing how much they use their tight end and the whole development of their players on and off the field.”
