4-star wing Noah Batchelor announces decommitment from Memphis
Noah Batchelor, a 6-foot-6 small forward out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy has decided to reopen his recruitment and decommit from the University of Memphis, he tells On3.
The Frederick, Maryland native committed to Memphis in July of last year and signed on the first day of the early signing period in November. Batchelor was the Tigers’ one and only class of 2022 commitment.

Prior to committing to Memphis, Batchelor considered schools such as Pittsburgh, NC State, Virginia Tech, Maryland, and others.
Batchelor sent On3 this statement regarding his decommitment:
It saddens me to announce after a long talk with my family, I have decided to withdraw my NLI from the University of Memphis. I would like to thank the coaches for the opportunity and the fans for their support. With that being said, I am reopening my recruitment.
Batchelor is ranked as the No. 163 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
