4-star WR Chase Campbell sets lengthy official visit schedule

The recruitment of Lubbock (Texas) Frenship four-star wide receiver Chase Campbell has not garnered much national attention. That’s about to change in the coming weeks.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder announced on Thursday that he’s locked in a whopping eight official visits. Programs across the ACC, Big 12 and SEC will get the blue-chipper on campus as he continues to work towards a decision.
It starts with a trip to Arkansas on the weekend of May 30. From there, he’ll head to Tennessee (June 2) and North Carolina (June 6). A Big 12 swing at Utah (June 10), Kansas State (June 13), Texas Tech (June 15), Oklahoma State (June 18) and Baylor (June 20) is set to round things out.
Campbell is the No. 109 overall prospect and No. 15 WR in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 15 player in Texas.

On3 ranks Campbell higher than other recruiting services. He checks in as the No. 58 recruit, No. 8 receiver and No. 7 player in the Lone Star State, per the 2026 On300.
A slew of Campbell’s top schools came by Lubbock to visit the pass-catcher this spring. He’s now set to head all across the country in an attempt to whittle down his list of contenders.
Campbell is a do-it-all star for Frenship. As a junior last season, he caught over 80 passes for more than 1,400 yards for the second year in a row. He tallied 26 scores in 2024 — 18 receiving, six rushing and two passing — per MaxPreps. Frenship won eight games last season and finished as the No. 52 team in Texas, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.
