Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star wide receiver Daniel Odom has committed to Oklahoma, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday.

He chose the Sooners over Texas and Oregon.

Over the weekend, Odom visited Lincoln for the Sooners’ junior day recruiting event.

“The energy was great from the coaches to the staff,” Odom told On3. “And also the players during their workout, great place and group of people to be around. I think what excites me is building my relationship with Coach Venables and Coach Emmett Jones and seeing myself make a big impact as a freshman in that school.”

In December, Odom named Oklahoma as one of his top six schools.

“Oklahoma has a good staff,” he said at the time. “I was there in the spring and I saw them scrimmage and I liked that a lot. They work hard, coach Emmett Jones is a great guy and he has been very consistent. Coach Jones has stayed consistent and he wants me to get back up there.”

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Odom is the nation’s No. 221 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 36 WR in the class and the No. 25 recruit from the Golden State.
