Saint Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College four-star Jeremiah McClellan isn’t 100% what day he’ll announce his college decision. There’s no set date yet but thinks it will happen sometime in early August.

What McClellan does know is the group he’ll choose from.

The 5-foot-11, 192-pound wide out will make his choice between Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ohio State and Oregon.

“These schools made my list because I can see myself there,” McClellan told On3. “Those schools have recruited me hard, they showed me love and I have had good visits to each school. All five have a shot for sure.

There are a couple of schools up there for me toward the top, but I’m still taking my time and considering each school on my list. I think in the next month or so, I should be ready to pick one.”

Over the last month McClellan’s taken official visits to Missouri (May 29), LSU (June 2), Ohio State (June 9) and Oregon (June 23). He’s set to return to Oregon in late July and says he isn’t sure if he’ll take any other visits during that time.

For the time-being, he’s focused on finding his right fit.

“When I make my decision, it will be based on player development,” said McClellan, the No. 112 player in the 2024 class. “That and how I fit into the system.”

Georgia: “Georgia made the top 5 because they are back to back national champions and because they are about to throw the ball. I can see they are trying to change the narrative.”

LSU: “LSU was my dream school growing up. I love what they do in the SEC and I love my relationship with coach Kelly and coach Peeler.”

Missouri: “Missouri’s home and they want me really bad. I like the offense and I feel I could thrive there. I also really feel the love from Coach Drink and Coach Peeler.”

Ohio State: “With Ohio State it’s all about Coach Hartline, Coach Jordan and Coach Day. They prepare wide receivers for the NFL which is a big factor. They win, they feature their guys and they get receivers to the league.”

Oregon: The staff and the people at Oregon make them stand out. All of the coaches recruit me hard from Oregon. Coach Adams, Coach Lanning and so many others have gotten to know me and made me feel important.”
