4-star WR Malik Clark locks in commitment date
Another one of the best wide receivers in the 2025 cycle is set to come off the board later this month.
Rock Hill (S.C.) four-star WR Malik Clark told On3’s Steve Wiltfong on July 12 that he was down to three schools and was set to announce his decision sometime this month. That date has now been revealed, as Clark will choose between Florida State, North Carolina and South Carolina on July 25.
“Talk with my family, mom and brother and once I weigh all the pros and cons then I’ll make my choice and pray that my decision will be the best for me,” Clark said earlier this month.
Clark took June official visits to each of his finalists, in addition to NC State. The in-state Gamecocks currently hold a slight edge in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).
The 6-foot-2.5, 180-pounder is the No. 209 overall prospect and No. 24 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in South Carolina.
