Wildwood (Fla.) Jones four-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III recently named his Top 11 schools. AlabamaClemsonFloridaFlorida StateLouisvilleMiamiOhio StateStanford, Syracuse, Tennessee and UCF made the list.

The 5-foot-10.5, 165-pound wideout will hit the road this spring, get face time with the coaches and see multiple spring practices.

Out of the 11 schools on Brown’s list, he has visited all except for Louisville, Syracuse and Stanford. That will change on March 4. The No. 203 overall prospect and No. 25 wide receiver in the 2025 On300 will head north to check Fran Brown‘s Orange program.

On March 13, Brown will visit UCF. A day later, he heads to Athens to check out Georgia, a school that did not make his list of favorites. Ohio State will get Brown back on campus on March 19. The No. 29 player in Florida plans to finish out his spring visits with trips to Florida State on March 23, Florida on March 30 and Miami on April 6.

Another visit or two could be added, but Brown has locked these six visits in. He is still working on his official visits and would like to make a decision later this summer.

“It will come down to the people in the building, the development on and off the field, what the day-to-day life looks like at that place and where I am most comfortable when I make my decision,” Brown said about his commitment. “The overall experience will ultimately help me choose the school because I have to live there seven days a week.”
