Big moves atop the On3 Industry Ranking after Rivals250, On300 updates
The Early Signing Period just over two weeks away, and the 5-star recruits in the 2025 class are that much closer to being cemented.
Following the latest rankings updates from both On3 and Rivals, the On3 Industry Ranking has also updated. There are currently 32 five-stars in the class to match the first round of the NFL Draft, and the final rankings will be solidified this winter after the conclusion of the high school football season and postseason all-star games.
Below are the nation’s five-star recruits in the Class of 2025:
1) QB Bryce Underwood – LSU commit

Throws a very tight spiral that amplifies the velocity on the tail of his passes. Has shown advanced skill as a passer. Comfortable delivering over the middle of the field from within the pocket. Consistently sticks the ball on receivers against tight coverage. Shows the ability to layer passes with touch and high-level location, especially downfield. Demonstrates the best pocket presence in the cycle entering the senior season. A vertical mover in the pocket who navigates pressure at a level well beyond his years. Has rhythmic feet when operating within structure. Doubles as a run threat with the ability to make defenders miss in space. Arguably the most accomplished quarterback in the cycle, touting a 40-2 record as a starter with two state titles entering his senior season.”

Highly effective and efficient as a distributor. A good decision-maker who runs Duncanville’s offense at a high level. One of the most efficient quarterbacks in the 2025 cycle, completing 74.1% of his passes for 3,267 yards and 35 touchdowns against 3 interceptions over 15 games as a junior. Also rushed for 304 yards and 4 touchdowns. Shows good zip on his passes, particularly in the short and intermediate areas of the field. Shows the ability to step up in the pocket to avoid pressure. Good athlete as a runner. More dangerous as a rushing threat than his production would indicate. Effective as a scrambler and has a good feel for when to tuck it and run. Processes the game well and plays quickly mentally. Competitive and plays well in big moments. Should not have as big of an adjustment to the speed of the game as some of his peers, given his battle-tested resume.”
4) WR Dakorien Moore – Oregon commit
School: Duncanville (Texas)
Scout’s Take: “Skilled, athletic wide receiver who has separated himself as the top pass-catcher in the 2025 cycle. Possesses an extremely well-rounded skill set. Harnesses his great top end speed with change of direction and lateral agility, making for consistent separation. Has the long speed to separate deep and take the top off of defenses. Shifty after the catch and uses his field vision to find open space, sometimes cutting back across the field. Ferocious ball-winner at the catch point, using his bounce and strong hands to consistently come down with jump balls. Plays much bigger than his size and has a large catch radius.”
5) DL Elijah Griffin – Georgia commit
School: Savannah (Ga.) Christian Academy

Posts eye-popping numbers in the weight room, with a 405 pound bench press, 550+ pound squat and 315 pound clean prior to his junior season. Has developed upper body and core strength to plant defenders into the ground. Flashes some dominant tendencies as a drive blocker and finisher. Runs his feet on contact and plays with some nastiness. Relatively advanced technically. Held his own against blue-chip prospects as a junior. Also shows off his athleticism as a defensive lineman. Was a lockdown defender as a junior, making plays at a very high rate when targeted. Finished with 11 pass breakups and five interceptions. Comfortable in working on an island in man coverage. Has smooth and technical footwork. Shows instincts and ball skills. Does a great job staying attached on vertical routes. Even when he gives up a catch, still manages to be in good position. A one-way, specialized cornerback prospect who stars for one of the top high school football programs in the state of Texas. Will need to add physicality to his game as he tends to shy away from contact as a tackler. High-end traits and polish make him the safest bet in coverage in the cycle with his ceiling likely to be determined by his development as a run defender and open field tackler.”
8) EDGE Isaiah Gibson – Georgia commit
School: Warner Robins (Ga.)
Scout’s Take: “Big EDGE prospect who creates a mismatch with his combination of rare physical traits, athleticism and power. Measured in at 6-foot-3.25, 263 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has elite length and a big frame, sporting 35-inch arms and 10.5 hands. Has outstanding closing speed and is a violent finisher. Uses his length to corral ball carriers, sometimes with just one hand. Scout’s Take: “Explosive defensive lineman with a big frame and outstanding first-step quickness. Measured in at over 6-foot-4 and around 280 pounds prior to his senior season. Has good length with arms that are around 33.5 to 34 inches. Weight is evenly proportioned throughout his frame. Dominant while playing the small school level, tallying 78 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 13 sacks. Lines up all over the defensive front at the high school level. Has the skill set to develop into a dynamic interior pass rusher. Wins with first step and lateral quickness, has rare get off and leverage for a player of his stature. Quality bend and ability to change direction. Uses his length to initiate contact consistently and sheds blockers with ease. Able to anchor and two-gap if needed. Will need to continue adding mass and play strength in addition to honing his technical skills. A high upside prospect given his natural traits who could develop into a true interior disruptor.”
10) CB DJ Pickett – LSU commit

Scout’s Take: “Dynamic, explosive two-way playmaker who looks like one of the top defensive back prospects in the 2025 cycle, with the highest upside coming as a cornerback. Pairs his plus athleticism and easy movement skills with high level instincts and ball skills. Has elite range as a deep safety. Reads and jumps routes to make plays on the ball. Has fluid feet and is a loose mover, increasing optimism about the projection to corner. Looks to be the most physical top cornerback prospect in the 2025 cycle, flying downhill and delivering big hits on ball carriers. Doubles as a game-breaking receiver with the ability to take the top off of defenses and come down with acrobatic contested catches.”
11) S Jonah Williams – Texas commit
School: Galveston (Texas) Ball
Scout’s Take: “Jumbo safety prospect with the size, athleticism and playmaking instincts to be a potential queen on the chessboard for defensive coordinators. Has linebacker size with the athleticism of a top defensive back. Measured in at 6-foot-3 ⅛, 206 pounds with 32.25-inch arms at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Covers ground in a hurry. Shows outstanding range in coverage. Has high-level ball skills with the ability to track the football over his shoulder. Had four interceptions as a junior along with eight pass breakups. Capable of covering tight ends and receivers out of the slot. Has the skill level to be a wide receiver prospect if he wanted. A two-sport standout, as a talented baseball player who throws 94 MPH as a left-handed pitcher. Can continue making strides with his form and physicality as a tackler. Could potentially outgrow the safety spot due to his bigger frame. Rare movement skills and size give him the upside to be a game-changing movable piece at the college and pro level.”

School: Birmingham (Ala.) Parker
Scout’s Take: “Twitchy, highly coordinated athlete who projects as one of the top defensive back prospects in the 2025 cycle. Has 6-foot-1.25, 181-pounds with 31.5-inch arms. A three-phase playmaker on Friday nights, making plays as a corner, return man and offense as a receiver and ball carrier. Flashed instincts and ball skills at corner as a junior. Effective at triggering and jumping passes to make plays on the ball. Very loose in his lower body, making for high-level change of direction. Excellent ball tracker as a defensive back, showing the ability to locate the football over his shoulder. Closes quickly as a tackler in the flats. Has a playmaking element to his game, which can be seen as a punt returner, taking back multiple punts for touchdowns as a junior. Has outstanding balance with the ball in his hands.”
13) OT Michael Fasusi – Oklahoma commit
School: Lewisville (Texas)
Scout’s Take: “Physical offensive lineman with natural brute strength and developmental upside. Measured in at 6-foot-5, 299 pounds with 9.75-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has plus length for the position, with arms that measure 34 ⅞ inches. Has a barrel-chested build. Added significant size during the off-season between his sophomore and junior years. Spends most of his time as a left tackle, but has also played some on the right side. A bull in the run game. Latches onto defensive linemen and keeps his feet moving on contact. Gets a considerable push at the point of attack. Plays with an edge and works to finish blocks with authority. Showed encouraging improvement on the field as a junior, adding play strength. A solid overall athlete with upside to continue improving as a pass protector. Can improve lateral agility and balance. Has a tendency to lunge and get off balance when facing college level prospects in the camp setting.”
14) IOL Michael Carroll – Alabama commit
School: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Scout’s Take: “Large-framed offensive line prospect with dynamic run blocking ability and a physical edge to his game. Measured in at 6-foot-6, 315 pounds with 33-inch arms and massive 11-inch hands prior to his senior season. Has added good size and has a well-proportioned build. Lines up as an offensive guard and defensive lineman for his high school. A high level functional mover. Highly dangerous as a puller when working to the second level. Blows up linebackers on contact. Uses his large hands and grip strength to manipulate defenders at the point of attack. Plays with a level of nastiness and seeks out contact. Works to finish blocks. Has a strong base, allowing for the ability to anchor in pass pro. Flashes his athleticism and plays with a high effort level on defense, tracking plays down from the back side. Shows his competitive nature in the camp setting and does not back down from matchups with top prospects. Plays in a run heavy offense and will need to continue developing as a pass blocker, but has the traits to improve there with more work. Likely projects along the interior long-term but has the potential to feasibly line up at multiple spots on the college level. Size, athleticism, and competitiveness point to a high ceiling at the position.”
15) OT Andrew Babalola – Michigan commit
School: Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest
Scout’s Take: “Immensely gifted offensive tackle who has the physical traits and athletic ability to develop into one of the top prospects at the position in the 2025 cycle. New to football, playing his first year of varsity action as a junior, previously being a basketball-first athlete. Measured in at over 6-foot-5, 295 pounds with 34 ⅜ inch arms prior to his senior season. Added around 20 pounds as a junior. A naturally flexible athlete. Has a flat back in his stance and plays low, sinking his hips to drive up through defenders. A strong functional mover. Moves well and shows light feet. Has advanced balance and shows a strong base, playing with his feet rooted in the ground. Shows surprising and borderline startling play strength for a developmental tackle. Consistently manhandles defensive linemen at the point of attack. Sustains blocks with his strong grip strength and often finishes with authority, planting defensive linemen in the dirt. Shows an encouraging level of physicality and nastiness. Will need to continue honing his overall technique, particularly in pass protection. Just scratching the surface of his considerable potential and could challenge as the top tackle in the 2025 cycle with continued development.”
16) DL Jahkeem Stewart
School: Reserve (La.) Edna Karr
Scout’s Take: “Physically-gifted defensive lineman with a high-end combination of twitch and technical ability at an early stage. Has a naturally big frame, measuring in at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds prior to his sophomore season. Has plus length for the position with arms that measure over 34 inches along with 10.75-inch hands. Put his name on the national radar with a number of impressive camp performances as a high school underclassman. Missed his freshman season due to a transfer. Has looked dominant in the camp setting. Flashes advanced technique despite his lack of varsity experience. Uses quick hands to easily disengage. Has a nasty straight arm that he uses to walk offensive linemen back to the quarterback. More of a straight line athlete who is at his best moving forward. Will need to improve his lateral agility as he has some stiffness when moving side to side. Will also need to transfer his skills on to Friday nights as he gets varsity experience.”
17) RB Harlem Berry – LSU commit
School: Metairie (La.) St. Martin’s Episcopal
Scout’s Take: “The most electric running back in the 2025 cycle, with the ability to be a game-changer in the passing game. Possesses elite burst and effortless movement skills. Measured in at 5-foot-10, 182 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. . Transfers his outstanding top end speed onto the field in a functional way. A threat to take it to the house on any touch. A light, springy mover who shifts gears and changes directions at full speed. Displays outstanding vision. Reads blocks and bursts through the line to the second level. The game moves slow for him at the prep level. Runs through contact and shows balance that belies his size. Showcased advanced pass catching skills during the summer prior to his senior season. Has the skill level to legitimately line up at receiver. A massive mismatch out of the backfield when covered by linebackers. Registers as a high end athlete with elite speed on the track and in the combine setting. Won state titles in the 100 and 200 meters as a sophomore with times of 10.57 seconds and 21.43 seconds, respectively. Highly productive over his high school career.”

School: Mesquite (Texas) Horn
Scout’s Take: “Freakish physical talent along the offensive line with rare dimensions and athletic traits. Measured at nearly 6-foot-7, 310 pounds prior to his senior season. The longest top offensive lineman in the 2025 cycle with 35-inch arms to go with 10 5/8 inch hands. A sudden, twitchy athlete who shows his advanced movement skills on Friday nights. Lines up at left tackle for his high school team. Explodes off the snap and envelops defensive linemen on contact. Has been a vicious run blocker for the majority of his high school career. Is able to reach cornerbacks when blocking on perimeter screens. Showed marked improvement in pass protection as a senior, while playing some of the best competition in the state of Texas. A multi-sport athlete who doubles as a prolific basketball player in addition to playing soccer. Still needs to develop technically. Can stand to improve his lower body strength and flexibility. Should see improvement once he receives college coaching and gets in a Power 4 strength program. Has one of the higher upsides in the loaded 2025 offensive line cycle.”

Shows a well-rounded skill set on Friday nights. A functional athlete who has a noticeable bounce in his movement. Shows quick feet with the ability to cut on a dime. Physical and flashes strong hands at the catch point. Attacks the ball in high-point situations. Outstanding after the catch. Sticks his foot in the ground and gets upfield quickly. Has great contact balance and breaks arm tackles. Dangerous when working underneath and over the middle of the field. Caught 49 passes for 879 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. Will need to continue adding polish to his game. Projects as a versatile X receiver with the ability to threaten all areas of the field.”
20) QB Husan Longstreet – USC commit

Scout’s Take: “Top arm talent with arguably the strongest arm in the 2025 cycle. Has an absolute flamethrower attached to his right arm. Owns a compact build at a shade under 6-foot-1, 195 pounds prior to his senior season. Muscled with little to no fat on his body. Has the largest hands among blue-chip quarterbacks in the cycle that measure at 11 inches. Capable of touching all areas of the field with his phenomenal arm strength. Passes have considerable velocity. Throws with a whippy ¾ to sidearm delivery. Plays in an uptempo offense at the offensive level that utilizes RPO’s. Makes eye-popping downfield throws, ripping passes down the seam from 40 yards out. Can stick the ball on covered receivers who are seemingly unguarded. Shows the ability to go through reads and attack the middle of the field. A twitchy mover who also presents a run threat on designed runs and on scrambles. Makes defenders miss in space. Turned in back-to-back strong seasons as a sophomore and junior.”
21) WR Caleb Cunningham – Ole Miss commit
School: Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County
Scout’s Take: “Bouncy outside receiver with the upside to become a skilled ball-winner. Measured at a shade 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with 32-inch arms and 9-inch hands prior to his senior season. Moves well at his size on film. Shows the ability to come down with catches in contested situations. Hangs in the air to come down with acrobatic grabs. Naturally coordinated and can locate the football at its highest point. Also shows some ability to make defenders miss after the catch. Increased his production as a junior, catching 48 passes for 1,138 yards and 14 touchdowns. Doubles as a fantastic high school basketball player, who has perhaps the best dunk reel among 2025 football prospects. Lives above the rim, throwing down electric dunks with regularity. Has considerable natural ability but will need to hone his technical skill at the position over the final few years of high school football, including expanding his route tree. Older for the cycle, turning 19 years-old as a senior. Has considerable upside with continued technical development.”
22) OT Ty Haywood – Alabama commit
School: Denton (Texas) Ryan
Scout’s Take: “Explosive, powerful offensive tackle with high-end traits for the position. Measured in at around 6-foot-4.75, 297 pounds with 33 ⅞-inch arms and 10-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Added around 15 pounds prior to his junior season. Shows encouraging movement skills in the camp setting. Doubles as a standout in track and field with a stellar 58-6 foot shot put throw as a junior. Transfers those physical attributes over to the field in a functional way. Works at left tackle for Denton Ryan, one of the top talent-producing high school programs in North Texas. Flashes very strong hands, stunning defensive linemen with his initial punch. Has strong grip strength and maintains his blocks. A bully in the run game. Shows good reactive quickness with moving laterally. Plays with a sturdy base and shows the ability to anchor on contact. Will need to continue honing his pass set technique. Has some stiffness in his lower body and could stand to improve flexibility. Frame may project more as a maxed 315-pounder than at 325+. Has the skill set to project at multiple spots along the offensive line, but stacks up well among a loaded offensive tackle group in the 2025 cycle.”
23) CB Dijon Lee – Alabama commit
School: Mission Viejo (Calif.)
Scout’s Take: “Very tall cornerback with advanced awareness and feet in coverage. Measured at 6-foot-3.25, 187 pounds with 32-inch arms and 9.5-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season.Battle tested against top competition in one of the nation’s most competitive high school leagues. Rarely out of position in coverage. Technically sound when working off the line of scrimmage, using his hands to affect receivers. Good ball skills and ball production. Able to track and locate passes. Looks to understand route concepts and has been well coached. Skilled at reading quarterbacks, sometimes baiting them into ill-advised throws. Dangerous in zone coverage. A physical presence in defending the flats. Bodies ball carriers on contact. Top-end speed remains a question. His personal best in the 100 meters is an 11.53 over three seasons of track and field, but has a 46-foot triple jump.”
24) WR Jerome Myles – USC commit
School: West Jordan (Utah) Corner Canyon
Scout’s Take: “Has always been a physical and athletic creature at the receiver position, but we wanted to see more development in overall receiver traits from his senior tape. It took all of one game for Myles to show off his development as a deep ball tracker and overall ball skills. Combine that with his already-established YAC ability and top-end speed? Myles could make a case as the biggest senior riser in the entire country regardless of position come signing day. We hope to see him bounce back from an early season knee injury.”
25) EDGE Lance Jackson – Texas commit
School: Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove
Scout’s Take: “Jumbo athlete with a large frame, good athleticism and positional versatility. Measured in at 6-foot-5.25, 270 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has plus length with 34-inch arms to go with 10-inch hands. One of the premier “first off the bus” prospects in the 2025 cycle. Excellent weight distribution throughout his frame and looks to be a lean 270. Lines up as a defensive end and tight end for his high school. An effective edge setter with his size and strength. Shows good initial quickness. Length shows up in implementing a straight arm move. Has the capability to walk offensive tackles back to the quarterback. Shows his athleticism as a tight end, with the ability to stretch the seam. Physical as a blocker. May outgrow EDGE given his current size. If he becomes a defensive lineman, will need to work on his pad level. Will benefit from focus on defense once he gets to college.”
26) OT Will Black – Notre Dame commit
School: Choate Rosemary Hall (Conn.)
Scout’s Take: “Highly coordinated athlete with the frame, balance and movement skills to develop into a premier left tackle. Measured in at 6-foot-7.5, 283 pounds with 34.25-inch arms and 9.75-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. New to football, picking up the game at the beginning of high school. Looks like a true top athlete in the combine setting, running an electronically timed 4.90 second 40-yard dash along with a shuttle in the 4.5 second range prior to his senior season. Plays with eye-popping bend for such a tall lineman. Gets low in his stance. Able to get underneath the pads of defenders and runs his feet to create a push. Plays with outstanding balance. Shows encouraging vision with the radar to identify defenders not in his direct line of sight. A smooth, light-footed mover in pass protection. Drops his weight to anchor on contact. Will need to continue getting stronger in his upper body. Moved to the United States to attend boarding school prior to his junior season. Has a hockey background. Older for the class after reclassifying upon moving to the US. Should be able to add weight and maintain his top shelf athleticism. The overall physical tools and technical skills along with the relative lack of experience point to a very promising upside as one of the top offensive tackles in a very strong cycle at the position.”
27. QB Deuce Knight – Auburn commit
School: George County (Miss.)
Scout’s Take: “Big left-handed signal caller who is the top athlete at the position in the 2025 cycle. Measured in at 6-foot-4.5, 208 pounds with a 9.75-inch hand at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Registers as a truly elite athlete at quarterback and one of the best athletes in the 2025 cycle, regardless of position. Consistently runs in the 4.5 second range at camps and has posted multiple 40+ inch vertical leaps. Shows flashes of that athleticism on Friday nights. Capable of tucking the ball and taking it to the house from anywhere on the field. Easily eliminates the angles of pursuit defenders as a scrambler and on designed runs. Tough to bring down in the backfield with his size and reactive quickness. Touts a strong downfield arm. Flashes the ability to stick throws into tight windows over the middle of the field. Showed marked progress as a passer during the off-season prior to his senior year, after a few months of working with a private coach. Still developing, but has tons of upside to continue improving with continued coaching and in-game reps. Had a disjointed junior season, transferring to Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tenn. before heading back to Greene County just a few games into the season. Needs to carry over his off-season progress onto the field on Friday nights. Will need to establish his improvements in accuracy while also continuing to better his decision-making and unlocking his immense potential as an athletic playmaker. A three-sport standout with multiple state titles in the long jump and high jump in addition to playing basketball. Has one of the highest upsides regardless of position in the 2025 cycle, but is still considered a developmental prospect. Has the potential to see the field early in his college career in a specifically tailored offense. With continued development, has the potential to be a program changing type of quarterback with significant NFL upside.”
28. WR Talyn Taylor – Georgia commit
School: Geneva Community (Ill.)
Scout’s Take: “One of the most technically skilled wide receiver prospects in the 2025 cycle with a high-end combination of route-running and ball skills. Measured at 6-foot-0.5, 175 pounds with arms in the 31.5 to 32-inch range prior to his senior season. A naturally coordinated, functional athlete. Has outstanding change of direction and projects as a dangerous route-runner. Very good burst off the line of scrimmage. Shifts gears at a high level. Hits the brakes and gets corners off balance. Lethal on comeback routes and double moves. Shows strong hands at the catch point. Comes down with impressive high-point grabs in the 7-on-7 setting. Good feel for finding openings against zone coverage. Crafty after the catch, slipping and spinning out of tackles. Does not play in a high octane high school offense that is capable of throwing downfield often. A standout in neutral settings – camps and 7-on-7. Shows a competitive play personality. Physical and competitive as a blocker, playing hard even if the ball doesn’t come his way. Offers inside-out versatility with his skill set. Needs to continue developing physically adding mass to his frame and continuing to improve his top end speed. More of a skill set evaluation due to his relative lack of production compared to most top receiver prospects. Offers inside-out versatility with his refined skill set.”
29) LB Zayden Walker – Georgia commit
School: Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County
Scout’s Take: “Flashes a high-end combination of on-field athleticism and functional play strength. Lines up in both two and three-point stances off the edge. Shows noticeable first-step quickness off the snap. Very strong at the point of attack. Plays with excellent leverage and uses his strong lower body to move offensive linemen both as a bull rusher and run defender. Makes some eye-popping plays in pursuit, showcasing high-end athleticism in tracking down ball carriers from the back side. Doubles as a dangerous running back, using his athleticism and strength to pick up yards after contact. Helped his team to a state title appearance as a sophomore.”
30) WR Kaliq Lockett – Texas commit
School: Sachse (Texas)
Scout’s Take: “Long-limbed pass-catcher with a large catch radius and functional movement skills. Measured in at 6-foot-1.5, 175 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has elite length and a big frame, with arms that measure 33.5 inches to go with 10.25-inch hands. Shows the ability to win at every level on Friday nights and in the camp setting. Stacks cornerbacks off the line of scrimmage with his initial burst and releases. Offers the movement skills of a smaller wide receiver with the catch radius and high-point ability of a jumbo pass-catcher. Shows shake and good play speed to separate within his routes. Plays with a high level of technical ability. Catches with good technique, using his hands to frame the football. Shows acrobatic in-air ability with the wherewithal to out-jump defenders in contested situations. Also flashes high level tracking skills. Turned in a strong junior season, hauling in 59 catches for 1,299 yards and 13 touchdowns. Will need to continue filling out his frame. Top end speed looks to be solid, but can be improved.”
31) S Trey McNutt – Oregon commit
School: Shaker Heights (Ohio)
Scout’s Take: “Competitive safety who has a case as the most well-rounded prospect at the position in the 2025 cycle. Measured at 5-foot-11.5, 183 pounds with 31.5-inch arms and 9.5-inch hands at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior year. A two-way playmaker at the high school level, starring as a safety, corner and slot receiver. Runs well, turning in six sub 11.0 second times in the 100 meters as a junior, with most coming in the 10.9 range. Can be a force player in the run game, play center field or cover receivers and tight ends out of the slot. Diagnoses well. Physical with and more than willing to lower his shoulder. Flows downhill with vigor and shows good tackling technique in the open field, driving through ball carriers. Has very good ball skills as a safety prospect. Broke up 12 passes as a junior and is capable of making one-handed catches on offense. A long-strider in the open field. A competitor with the play personality you desire on defense. May not be truly overwhelming in one area, but has a well-rounded skill set as a true safety. Can continue improving his trigger and break on the ball in coverage.”
32) IOL Solomon Thomas – Florida State commit
School: Jacksonville Raines
Scout’s Take: “Big-bodied, physical offensive lineman with versatility and one of the higher floors in what is a loaded cycle at the position. Measured in at around 6-foot-3.5, 315 pounds prior to his senior season. Touts elite length with 35.75-inch arms. Has a barrel-chested build with solid weight distribution. Lines up at tackle for his high school but likely has the highest upside as a guard long-term. Very stout at the point of attack. Plays with a strong base and has pop in his hands on contact. Detonates defensive linemen and linebackers with his punch. Plays with a physical edge and works to finish blocks. Has good technical ability in pass protection. Held up well in a 1-on-1 matchup against 2024 five-star defensive lineman LJ McCray as a junior. A solid, not overwhelming athlete. Can continue to improve his lateral agility and reactive quickness. Has the skill level to potentially get on the field early in his college career given his strength and battle tested resume.”
