Less than a month ago, Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham named his Top 12 schools.

Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee made the cut for the No. 11 overall prospect and No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

After taking visits to Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Mississippi State and Oklahoma in January and early February, Cunningham has lined up some spring visits.

“I will be at Ole Miss (March 4th), Alabama (March 6), LSU (March 8th-9th), Florida State (March 23rd), Auburn (March 30th), Tennessee (April 1st), Miami (April 6th), Florida (April 13th) and Texas A&M (April 19th),” Cunningham told On3. “Mississippi State will get a visit too, but I can go there multiple times because it’s just 30 minutes from home.”

What Cunningham told On3 in January about his timeline remains the same. He is in no rush.

“I am going to stay patient with everything. It is a little overwhelming at times, so I am taking my time and I could take official visits in the summer and during the season. I am not really sure yet.

“Right now I am thinking I will make my decision closer to Signing Day in December.”

Cunningham broke down his top schools in January

ALABAMA: “Alabama has one of the best programs in college football and it’s a great place. They have a great coaching staff too. They definitely get receivers to the league and that’s what I like.”

AUBURN: “When I went to Auburn for a visit they talked about God a lot before football. It feels like family there and they have faith. I love the new offensive coordinator (Derrick Nix) they have. And I love their coaching staff. It’s a great place.”

FLORIDA: “I have a great relationship with their wide receivers coach (Billy Gonzales) and they have a great place. I love their offensive scheme too.”

GEORGIA: “Georgia is a great program and they touch base a good bit. They put plenty of players in the league. They have a great atmosphere too.”

GEORGIA TECH: “Georgia Tech recruits me really hard. They never give up when they think they don’t have a chance, but they do and I am really in impressed how their Freshman WR came in and earned 5 All American honors.

LSU: “LSU is WRU. They get receivers to the league it’s a vibe there and the whole coaching staff loves and I have a great relationship with them. They know how to use their receivers, and I will fit their offense.”

MISSISSIPPI STATE: “I love the coaching staff. I love the new head coach they have and I have a great relationship with him and Coach Bump (Chad Bumphis). State is not even far from where I live and I love the offense that coach Jeff Lebby runs. I fit that offense.”

OKLAHOMA: “Oklahoma made it because I have great relationship with the receiver coach. They know how to use their receivers. They’re definitely an air raid team and it is a great place.”

OLE MISS: “Ole Miss knows how to put receivers in the league and I have a great relationship with some of the people over there.”
